| Dancing and music have been linked to sacredness for thousands of years. Each culture provides its own manifestation. From grand temples and cathedrals to distant campfires there has consistently been a place in our history for sacred dancing. We turn like the dervishes or join hands to circle about as children on a playground with each movement as a mystical beauty. Sacred Space Community Dances are simple group dances, singing, poetry and rhythm, designed to create a sacred circle around and within us. It is a participatory endeavor built on new songs, different dances, and fresh refreshing experiences of community spirit. |
