| Weekly - Sunday Riverside, CA Fairmont Park Come one come all, the drum is the world's oldest instrument. Its roots are in Africa. For the last year and a half every Sunday beginning at 1:30pm until about 6:30pm there has been a great turnout for the Inland Empire Drum Circle and it just keeps getting better and better. Come and feel the force and the Spirit of the Rhythm while drumming near the Lake at Fairmont Park in Riverside. All levels of drummers welcome. This is a drug-free and alcohol-free drum circle, so bring the kids. We have Dancers and Drummers visiting from LA and other City's. Directions: From LA take the 60th Fwy east, exit Market Street; Make a right turn, look for the Big Black Union Pacific Antique Train on display at the entrance of the Park on the right. Make another right into the park. Drive toward the back of the Park near the Lake. Bring your favorite instruments and your refreshments like fruits and water. | Wednesdays - Claremont, Ca Village Mandala This is the oldest continuously run circle in the Inland Empire. Held at the Forum (Claremont Courier building) on College. 7 PM every Wednesday. Open circle with spirited drummers. All levels and styles are welcome. From the I10 freeway take Indian Hill North to Arrow.turn right (East) on Arrow Hwy., proceed to the next signal which is College Ave, and then turnleft (North) going two blocks to 111 So. College Ave.which will be on your left (West) side of the street.
